About Chef Lex
Chef Lex here! My name is Alexa, but some of my friends and family call me Lex. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and studied at the University of Florida, where I received a Bachelor's in Tourism and Events. I later attended Florida International University and received a Master's degree in Hospitality Management. During the pandemic, I enrolled in the Miami Culinary Institute to learn formal training where I later became a chef apprentice. I enjoyed every minute of it. Food has always been a main event in my life and has brought my family together in the kitchen for as far as I can remember. I believe that food makes many people happy, so I decided to start a small business, share my talents of cooking and open up my kitchen. I have been lucky enough to share my delicious food with hundreds of Miami locals. I have also been fortunate to cater countless events including birthdays, showers, corporate events, and school events. I am constantly digging deep into my creativity to create delicious and innovative ideas to help bring sophisticated yet homey food to your home or event. I take pride in serving you food that I would serve in my own home. Each dish that leaves my kitchen is carefully curated with the freshest and most flavorful ingredients. From start to finish, it is my goal to provide a personable experience with each and every client.
